Cruelty-Free & Vegan Men’s Grooming Brands

You've most likely seen and heard the terms Vegan and Vegetarian used fairly often. What exactly does it mean to be Vegan or Vegetarian though? While some go vegan simply to not support the mistreatment of animals or killing them for food, there are also ethical vegans, who don’t typically eat, use any products, or wear any clothing derived from animals. Many companies are changing their processes and creating products to adapt to Vegan and Vegetarian standards, including some of our own brands here at Bib&Tucker.

Cruelty-Free

You can take your own cruelty-free pledge and do your part to help the mistreatment of animals by buying cruelty-free products. However, it’s important to note that cruelty-free products aren’t always truly animal-friendly, as they may contain animal ingredients (but they don’t stand by animal cruelty or poor living conditions). This essentially means that they still require the death of an animal to produce these products.

For a product to be cruelty-free there should be no form of animal testing in the creation of the product. This includes brands who also use ingredients from third parties that could also test their products on animals. If you want something completely free of animal ingredients, look for vegan products.

Vegan

A product that is vegan does not contain any traces of animal ingredients or ingredients derived from animals. This includes, but is not limited to honey, beeswax, lanolin, collagen, cholesterol, gelatin, glycerin, and many others.

*Vegetarian products will have honey and beeswax.

*While all of our brands are not listed here, some may still offer vegan and vegetarian products, just remember to read the ingredients!
